Julia Moore

When she was just 4 years old, Julia began her journey in the realm of competitive cheerleading with Xtreme Cheer in Boise, Idaho. Throughout a span of seven years, she laid the groundwork for her tumbling and movement skills, which would later serve as a foundation for her post-cheerleading endeavors.

Transitioning from the world of cheerleading to the art of dance at age 13, Julia found her true passion. Julia trained at her nearby studio, Studio C, where she developed her skills and flourished as a member of the competition teams.

Julia was also a member of the Capital High Golden Girls dance team all three years of high school. Additionally, Julia was given the opportunity to represent Capital High School as a soloist during her Junior and Senior years.

During her undergraduate studies, Julia became a member of the University of Idaho Spirit Squad where she was later selected to attend ProAction Dance and represent the University along with a few other teammates.

Julia was also given the opportunity to study abroad in Athens, Greece. Here, she immersed herself in the exploration of modern and contemporary dance, with a special emphasis on release-based technique. This abroad experience added a new layer to her dance artistry, broadening her horizons in both the physical and creative movement realms.

Julia’s eagerness to learn and love for movement led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Advertising, complemented by a minor in Dance. Beyond academics, she took on the responsibility of being an executive board member for her sorority, Alpha Phi, where she held the position of head of recruitment for her chapter throughout her senior year of college.

Today, Julia works for a marketing agency as an analyst, as well as being the marketing manager for Dance Unlimited. Julia is looking forward to entering her third year at Dance Unlimited, teaching jazz, acro, and hip hop. Additionally, she has recently taken on the role of assistant coach to the Rocky Mountain High School Diamond Dancers.
